Various buildings in the downtown district of Ritzville have awnings that have needed or are in need of repair. King Mercantile Co. has worked with the RDDA to improve these awnings.

Over the years, 13 awnings have either been replaced, restored or constructed. The first one was in 2005 for the Hair Center. It was replaced in 2019. These include:
